La Conner Live would like to thank the following for their dedicated support for the 2019 Sunday concert series.
The Ward Foundation, the Town of La Conner and The Port of Skagit donated $2,000-$5,000 apiece.
The LUX Art Center, Mt Vernon Building Center, La Conner Pub & Eatery, Skagit Cellars and La Conner Tea Co. each donated $500.
Seaport Books, La Conner’s Seaside Gallery, Anelia’s Kitchen & Stage, Skagit Crest Vineyard & Winery, Africa Mama and Fine Feathered Friends were merchant sponsors at $200.
Without this financial support La Conner Live could not exist nor be the longest running free, live, outdoor concert series in three counties.
There were over 3,000 concert attendees which was a 65% increase from last year’s attendance. About 75% of concert attendees shopped at local businesses and 75% said they purchased food before, during or after concerts.
La Conner Live was developed to be a tourist attraction with the goal of increasing visitor traffic to town businesses. Concert regular attendees who attended seven or more times came from Skagit, Snohomish, and King County.
The long term goal of La Conner Live is to bring free, live music and entertainment to La Conner all year around, with two annual fundraising events: New Year’s Eve Dance at Maple Hall and an annual Jazz Walk, starting next March, during La Conner’s Daffodil Festival.
