Monday, August 17

10:53 a.m.: Move it or lose it – A blue Ford pickup on the caller’s property last two days. Registered owner was contacted and advised to have it removed or the property own will have it towed. McLean / Beaver Marsh Rds., Greater La Conner.

11:33 a.m.: Bike theft – A black “Trek” Mountain bicycle was stolen. No suspects. Park St., La Conner.

2:50 p.m.: Overly suspicious – Motorhome in the area of Channel Dr. It was recently purchased by a homeowner in the area. No issue. Channel Dr., La Conner.

4:03 p.m.: Left town without it – A red wallet was lost in town. La Conner.

5:11 p.m.: Sped away – Report of a white van driving at a high rate of speed. Deputies did not locate the vehicle. McLean / Best Rds., Greater La Conner.

Tuesday, August 18

1:06 p.m.: Shattered and sliced– A large piece of glass fell on a worker as it was being removed from vehicle. S. 1st St., La Conner.

Wednesday, August 19

3:23 p.m.: Dogs gone – Report of three dogs inside of a vehicle possibly overheating. Animal Control checked and could not locate a vehicle with dogs inside. S. 1st St., La Conner.

7:03 p.m.: Democracy in action – Theft of political campaign signs. No suspects. Dodge Valley Rd., Greater La Conner.

9:33 p.m.: Gold in trash search – A male was contacted at the transfer station while going through a dumpster. He was asked to move along. Farm to Market Rd., Bay View.

Thursday, August 20

1:54 a.m.: Four legged friend – A dog was picked up by a deputy in town. The dog appeared to be limping and was taken to the Pet Emergency center. The dog did have a tag on the collar that indicated Anacortes Animal Clinic. Caledonia St. / Maple Ave., La Conner.

8:06 a.m.: Tag, we’re it – Graffiti reported at the public restrooms, 500 block of S 2nd St. and under the Rainbow Bridge. Photos were taken but no suspects at this time. S. 1st St., La Conner.

5:26 p.m.: Sped away – A green Acura Integra was seen driving slowly through the area on McLean Rd for several days. Deputies checked the area but were unable to locate. McLean Rd., Greater La Conner.

6:45 p.m.: Cruizin the ‘hood – Same complaint as above with same suspect vehicle. Beaver Marsh Rd., Greater La Conner.

Monday, August 24

7:34 a.m.: Dirty Democratic trick? –A mailbox was blown up overnight Saturday. A loud explosion was heard but no suspects were located. It was possibly fireworks. Beaver Marsh Rd., Greater La Conner.
