10:18 a.m.: Out of here – Vehicle was tagged and towed as an abandoned vehicle. Whatcom St., La Conner.

Tuesday, Dec. 22

12:48 a.m.: Asleep at wheel – Deputies investigated a non-injury motor vehicle accident. The driver had fallen asleep and struck the center curbing of the roundabout. McLean / Best Rds., Greater La Conner.

Wednesday, Dec. 23

8:46 a.m.: Stealing energy – Caller reported a theft. The suspect entered a secure area and took a generator; investigation continuing. Bay View Edison Rd., Bay View.

Thursday, Dec. 24

9:07 a.m.: Didn’t read sign – Report of a vehicle parked in front of the post office. Deputies contacted the owner, who agreed to move the vehicle. Fir Island Rd., Conway.

9:30 a.m.: Went too fast – Deputies investigated a non-injury, roll-over motor vehicle accident. La Conner Whitney Rd., La Conner.

10:57 a.m.: An ounce of sand – Caller reported slick roadway conditions. Public Works was notified to sand the roadway. Main St., Conway.

1:44 p.m.: Art theft – Deputies responded to a reported burglary. They found that several pieces of art work had been stolen; investigation continuing. Park St., La Conner.

Friday, Dec. 25

12:00 a.m.: Ho, Ho, Ho – Calls, reports and sightings throughout the night up on rooftops of a jolly old man and eight tiny reindeer. Cookies taken and glasses of milk emptied in numerous households. Greater La Conner and beyond.

2:02 p.m.: Another? – Caller reported an abandoned vehicle. A lodge, N. 1st St., La Conner.

9:44 p.m.: Like Scrooge of old – Caller reported an aggressive driver in a pickup that had passed them and then stopped in the middle of the roadway, where the driver exited the vehicle. Deputies contacted the driver of the pickup and warned him about aggressive driving. Fir Island / Wylie Rds., Conway.

Saturday, Dec. 26

9:00 a.m.: Car strippers – Caller reported a suspicious vehicle and that people appeared to be removing parts from it. Deputies arrived and confirmed the vehicle had been stolen from Mount Vernon. There were no people around the vehicle when deputies arrived. The owner was contacted to pick up his vehicle. Calhoun Rd., Greater La Conner.

10:48 a.m.: Not neighborly – Caller reported a neighbor prowling around the front porch of a residence he was responsible for. The caller knows the neighbor and just wanted an information report done. Broadway St., Conway.

4:24 p.m.: Not neighborly 2 – Report of a truck driving through the caller’s field. Deputies were unable to locate the truck. Best / Young Rds., Greater La Conner.

4:54 p.m.: Missing, then not – Caller reported a missing person. The missing person returned home prior to the deputies’ arrival. Deputies discussed some safety options for the family to keep track of their loved one. La Conner Whitney Rd., La Conner.

Sunday, Dec. 27

9:36 a.m.: Ready, aim, fire – Report of three gunshots heard in the area. This area is a popular hunting area. The call was transferred to Fish and Wildlife officers. Rainier St., La Conner.

Monday, Dec. 28

9:07 a.m.: Fender bender – Deputies investigated a two car, non-injury motor vehicle accident in the roundabout. McLean / Best Rds., Greater La Conner.
