Monday, Feb. 1

2:08 p.m.: Dog gone – Report of a black dog walking in the roadway. Deputy checked the area, but were unable to locate. Best / Chilberg Rds., Greater La Conner.

Tuesday, Feb. 2

3:17 p.m.: Nervy thief – Caller reported the theft of a portable security camera from inside their home. Bradshaw Rd., Greater La Conner.

Wednesday, Feb. 3

9:56 a.m.: Prowling around – Caller reported a vehicle prowl. The caller said her purse was taken from her unlocked vehicle and there was no damage to her car. State St, La Conner.

9:58 a.m.: Prowling in town – Caller reported a vehicle prowl to a family member’s car. The caller said a wallet and jacket were stolen from the unlocked vehicle. S. 4th St, La Conner.

10:04 a.m.: Move or lose it – Caller reported a motorhome that was parked on private property in front of a dumpster. The caller wanted it moved before garbage pickup. The caller was advised this was private property and had the option of calling a tow truck to move the vehicle if it was still there when the garbage truck came. La Conner Whitney Rd., Greater La Conner.

12:27 p.m.: Prowled again – Caller reported her vehicle had been prowled and gone through. The caller said nothing but possibly some change was missing. Park St., La Conner.

1:53 p.m.: More prowling – Caller reported a vehicle prowl. The caller said a music CD was missing, but there was no damage done to the vehicle. State St., La Conner.

7:43 p.m.: Ace at prowling – Caller reported a cold vehicle prowl. Caller said her debit card had been stolen from her vehicle. S. 3rd St., La Conner.

Friday, Jan. 5

1:42 p.m.: Good deed done – Caller wanted to turn in a wallet that she had found at the LC Post Office. Deputies collected the wallet and were able to contact the owner and return the wallet and all of its original contents. S. 1st St., La Conner.

Saturday, Feb. 6

8:26 a.m.: Clear evidence – Deputies responded to a priority alarm, with glass breakage at the LC High School. Deputies arrived and located a small piece of broken window glass on the ground. The opening was too small for anyone to enter through. Deputies searched the interior of the school with the call out and did not locate anything suspicious. Due to the glass piece being outside, it is believed the window may have been previously fractured and the piece of glass just fell out. N. 6th St., La Conner.

Sunday, Feb. 7

1:49 a.m.: Sensitive soul – Caller reported juveniles skate boarding at a late hour and felt it was suspicious. Deputies checked the area and located the two juveniles on 1st St. They were not breaking any laws. Caller later called back due to loud noise and a vehicle in the area. Deputies did a patrol check in the area and were unable to locate anything. S. 1st St., La Conner.

Monday, Feb. 8

12:51 a.m.: Night passerby – Caller reported a suspicious vehicle that has been driving past caller’s home last two nights. Caller requested an area check. Washington Ave. / S. 1st St., La Conner.

7:20 a.m.: Cold evidence – Caller reported a fire extinguisher was sprayed on busses over the weekend. A school, N. 6th St., La Conner.

8:54 a.m.: Cat whisperer – Caller stated she is a relative of a homeowner who is re-homing stray cats on the property. Caller was told to contact the Humane Society and SPOT prior to catching the cats. Moore Rd., Conway.
