10:33 a.m.: Cold, hard facts – Caller reported a cold theft sometime after the incident. Maple Ave., La Conner.

11:24 a.m.: Larger, hard fact – Caller reported his 2006 Toyota Avalon stolen sometime after the 13th. Maple Ave., La Conner.

Tuesday, Feb. 16

10:01 a.m.: Lost, not stolen – Report of lost keys. Maple Ave. / Washington St., La Conner.

4:39 p.m.: Vehicle probably won – Vehicle versus fence, hit and run motor vehicle accident. Best Rd., Greater La Conner.

8:32 p.m.: Caller suspicious – Caller reported a suspicious person hiding in a lean-to. Deputies checked the area, but were unable to locate anyone. A restaurant, La Conner Whitney Rd., Greater La Conner.

Wednesday, Feb. 17

3:25 p.m.: No free money – Caller reported being defrauded by a web site where he signed up for a secret shopper deal. The company sent him a large check to deposit in his account and then had him buy large sum gift cards and send the card information back to his secret shopper. The bank notified him the check was no good. This is a common scam to be aware of. No one is going to give you money for free over the internet. Fir Island Rd., Conway.

Thursday, Feb. 18

11:56 a.m.: On own over phone – Deputies contacted a caller regarding phone harassment. Deputies explained the process to obtain an order against the suspect. Morris St., La Conner.

8:31 p.m.: Road weaver – Caller reported a vehicle with irregular lane travel. Best/Chilberg Rds., Greater La Conner.

Saturday, Feb. 20

6:35 a.m.: Timing is everything – Off-duty MVPD officer reported an unoccupied vehicle. Deputies checked the vehicle which turned out to be stolen. S. 4th St, La Conner.

2:42 p.m.: Mother child reunion – Caller reported an infant locked in a vehicle in front of a business. The person called back while deputies were en route and advised the owner was able to gain entry to the vehicle. Morris St., La Conner.
