VERNON (VERN) ELLIOT LOVELACE

Vernon Elliot Lovelace made his final trip and arrived in heaven on March 5th at 12:08 am. He was born in Temple, Oklahoma on November 5, 1934 to Vernon Elby and Inez Marie Lovelace. They moved to Battle Creek, Michigan where he grew up. When he was 15 years old, he made his way to northern California and ended up living there until he was 55 years old.

Vern leaves behind his wife, Elaine and sister, Maxine Lovelace. His daughter Kathy Lovelace preceded him in death, and he left 6 other children, Vernon Lovelace (Nancy), Randy Lovelace (Julie), Vickie Lovelace (Lori Witz), Maria Maither (Mark) Scott Lovelace and Airion Kinnison (Marcos) and 14 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren whom he loved dearly with his big heart. His dog named, Scout, provided much joy in his life as well.

A private graveside in Los Altos, California for the family has been planned, but when Covid restrictions are lifted, there will be a Celebration of Life in Anacortes, Washington.

In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations to these two ministries that Vern loved deeply and supported for many years:

La Conner Young Life: giving.younglife.org/lcylvernlovelace or giving.younglife.org/dcylvernlovelace.
