1:39 p.m.: Patrolling works – Deputies patrolling the area of Pioneer Park located a male with an outstanding arrest warrant. The subject was taken into custody for the warrant. S. 4th St., Pioneer Park. La Conner.

Tuesday, August 24

9:29 a.m.: Fake phone call – Report a fraudulent phone call. Channel Dr., Greater La Conner.

1:35 p.m.: No sleeping zone – Report of a male sleeping on private property. Deputies contacted the male who agreed to move along after refusing assistance from deputies. La Conner Whitney Rd., Greater La Conner.

3:03 p.m.: Prowling continues – Report of a vehicle prowl and theft of a purse from the vehicle. The investigation continues. Bay View Edison Rd., Greater La Conner.

5:29 p.m.: Pick your own – Report of someone stealing produce from a farm field. Fir Island Rd., Conway.

Wednesday, August 25

1:18 a.m.: Caught where he oughtn’t – Report of a male who violated a court order. Deputies located the male and took him into custody for the violation. S. 1st St., La Conner.

12:48 p.m.: Lost cat scam – Report of a fraud involving the reporting party’s lost cat poster. The reporting party electronically sent money to someone claiming to have their cat. The reporting party was able to recover money sent. McLean Rd., Greater La Conner.

Friday, August 27

2:49 p.m.: Purse prowled – Report of a vehicle prowl and theft of a purse. Bay View Edison Rd., Greater La Conner.

3:54 p.m.: Lap dog crash – Report of a one car non-injury collision. Driver was reportedly travelling at a high rate of speed and lost control when he was attempting to move his dog off his lap. Beaver Marsh Rd., Greater La Conner.

9:59 p.m.: Cold night, warm ride – Report of someone attempting to start a fire at the Farmhouse Inn. Deputies contacted a male who had started a small fire to stay warm. The male extinguished the fire and deputies provided a courtesy transport. La Conner Whitney Rd., Greater La Conner.

Saturday, August. 28

5:49 p.m.: Hit, ran, caught – Report of a hit and run collision. Deputies located and contacted the driver of the running vehicle and conducted acollision investigation. S. 1st St., La Conner.

7:12 p.m.: Reverse deposit – Report of a male harassing customers at a store. Deputies contacted the male, trespassed him from the store and provided him with a courtesy transport out of the area. A market, Morris St., La Conner.

Sunday, August 29

2:29 p.m.: Finally floated off – Request for the sheriff’s marine unit’s assistance with removing a boat from a private moorage. Deputies were able to locate the owner who reported having mechanical issues. The owner returned to the boat and removed it. Swinomish Channel, S. 1st St., La Conner.

3:54 p.m.: Memories misplaced – Report of a vehicle prowl. Upon deputies contacted the reporting party, they realized they had not been prowled and believed they had misplaced the missing items. N. 1st St., La Conner.

11:18 p.m.: Prowled, kind of – Report of a vehicle prowl with no damage to the vehicle and nothing taken. N. 3rd St., La Conner.
