Monday, November 8

3:38 p.m.: Car be gone – Reporting person’s vehicle abandoned on private property. Property owner notified and making arrangements for removal. S. 3rd St., La Conner.

4:12 p.m.: Painful call – Report that a dog sounded like it was in distress throughout the day. County Animal Control notified. Calhoun Rd., Greater La Conner.

Tuesday, November 9

6:03 p.m.: Got away – Report of a vehicle driving over the lines. Deputies checked for the vehicle, but were unable to locate it. Maple Ave. / Park St., La Conner.

7:25 p.m.: Got away 2 – Report of a vehicle stopping in the roadway and weaving. Deputies checked for the vehicle, but were unable to locate it. La Conner Whitney / Flats Rds., Greater La Conner.

7:49 p.m.: Watching a waiter – Caller requested a patrol check for a suspicious vehicle that had been parked in the parking lot for over an hour. A drugstore. Morris St., La Conner.

Wednesday, November 10

9:28 a.m.: Federal offense – Mount Vernon postmaster was given a photo of a vehicle that was seen going through mailboxes. Best Rd., Conway.

5:50 p.m.: No evidence – Report of a vehicle crossing over the fog line. Deputies located the vehicle and after following it, did not observe any traffic violations. Fir Island / Best Rds., Conway.

Thursday, November 11

2:25 p.m.: Hauled away – Disabled truck and trailer blocked the road. Deputies contacted the owner and arranged for a tow truck. Best / Chilberg Rds., Greater La Conner.

Friday, November 12

10:08 a.m.: Be right back – Deputies responded to a report of an abandoned vehicle. Deputies noticed a note on the car that said they had mechanical problems and would be returning to remove the vehicle. Chilberg Rd., La Conner.

9:18 p.m.: Heard nothing – Report of loud music. Deputies sat in the area and did not hear any music. A deli, Best Rd., Greater La Conner.

Saturday, November 13

5:10 p.m.: Bad dogs – Report of dogs that killed two ducks and possibly bit a neighbor. Deputies attempted to contact the neighbor, but no one was home. Case was forwarded to Animal Control for follow up. Beaver Marsh Rd., Greater La Conner.

1:26 a.m.: Hit and ran – Car vs pole accident. Driver fled the scene. Beaver Marsh / Marsh Rds., Greater La Conner.

1:30 p.m.: Family matters – Caller reported that someone had gone through the glove box of their vehicle. The caller was unsure if it was a family member or not, nothing taken. Calhoun Rd., Greater La Conner.

Sunday, November 14

9:32 a.m.: Prowler a thief – Caller reported he had observed a male break his truck window and steal his shotgun, ammo and three backpacks of hunting gear. The suspect was observed leaving the scene towards La Conner. Deputies and Swinomish Tribal Police checked the area for the suspect vehicle but were unable to locate. La Conner Whitney Rd., Greater La Conner.
