3:10 p.m.: Abandoned after steal – Deputies responded to an abandoned vehicle call. Deputies determined the license plate did not match the VIN number and located a second license plate in the bed of the truck. A registration check showed the truck had been stolen out of Camano Island approximately one week earlier. Dry Slough Rd., Conway.
7:22 p.m.: Letting dog go – Caller reported a stray dog that he had picked up and taken in was becoming aggressive and requested it be picked up. S. 1st St., La Conner.
Tuesday, January 11
11:03 a.m.: A local job – Caller reported fence damage. After further investigation, the caller determined the fence was damaged by their landscapers. S. 2nd St., La Conner.
Wednesday, January 12
3:25 p.m.: Called too quickly – Report of an abandoned vehicle. Deputies checked the vehicle, and it was not stolen. Calhoun / Penn Rds., Greater La Conner.
Thursday, January 13
7:35 a.m.: Dog on run – Caller reported finding a Chihuahua with a collar and no tags. The caller said they would be taking the dog to the Humane Society. Moore Rd., Conway.
7:49 p.m.: Sounds suspicious – Caller reported a suspicious vehicle with people standing around it. Deputies checked the area, Unable to Locate the vehicle. S. 3rd St., La Conner.
Saturday, January 15
3:45 p.m.: Dog savers – Report of a found sickly looking bulldog. Deputies located the dog and took it to the Humane Society. Douglas St., La Conner.
Sunday, January 16
2:50 p.m.: Who might that be? – Report of a suspicious person in the alley. Deputies responded to the alley and were Unable to Locate the subject. Maple Ave., La Conner.
9:35 p.m.: But under influence? – Report of a possible DUI driver that went off the roadway. The MVA was determined to be non-injury. Best Rd., Greater La Conner.
