Monday, October 24

9:22 p.m.: Home buyer – Report of an unwanted male and female walking up to a private residence. The homeowner recognized them and asked the two to leave and they did. The female made comments she wanted to buy the house which is currently for sale. She was advised to go through a real estate agent. La Conner Whitney Rd., Greater La Conner.

Thursday, October 27

7:24 a.m.: Duck hunters – Gun shots heard in the area turned out to be duck hunters in the channel. Maple Ave., La Conner.

11:07 p.m.: Mysterious prowler – A resident reported a loud crashing noise that was heard outside. A figure was seen running towards the museum. Law enforcement checked the area and didn't see anything unusual. They stayed in the area for about an hour and didn't locate anyone suspicious. 4th St., La Conner.

Friday, October 28

3:23 p.m.: Wallet returned – A wallet was found in town. The owner was contacted and the wallet was returned. 1st St., La Conner.

11:10 p.m.: Exploding pumpkins – A suspect ignited what appeared to be several fireworks taped together causing an explosion under four stacked pallets holding pumpkins. The explosion was loud and the pallets were damaged. The suspect who did this has not yet been identified. McLean Rd., Greater La Conner.

Saturday, October 29

2:38 p.m.: Sign stealer – A political candidate's sign that was displayed on the Farmhouse Inn property was removed without permission. The suspect was identified and charges for removing the sign are being referred to the Skagit County Prosecutor. La Conner Whitney Rd., Greater La Conner.
