There is no doubt the COVID-19 pandemic brought with it unprecedented public health, economic, and mental health challenges for individuals and the community at large. While COVID transmission still remains in Skagit County, Public Health is now able to respond within general operating capacity and is no longer in emergency response mode.
To gather information about the strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities for improvement of our local pandemic response, Skagit County Public Health is requesting public comment about COVID-19 emergency response in Skagit County. The survey specifically requests feedback about demographics, access to and utilization of services (including testing and vaccination), availability of COVID-19 related information and sources, ease of access, and more. Input collected from the survey will be used as part of the County’s After Action Report and Improvement Plan to strengthen Skagit County’s emergency preparedness and response system in the future.

The survey takes approximately 15 minutes to complete and responses are anonymous. It will remain open for public comment until Feb. 28.
