Kiwanis February students

The Kiwanis Club of La Conner High School Student of the Month for February is Andrew Villard. Andrew's parents are Lucas and Shaye Villard. He is a senior. Andrew enjoys his leadership, automotive and wood shop classes. He is a teacher assistant with the special education class and helps with maintenance in the school bus barn. Outside of school he is an Eagle Scout and a volunteer fire fighter with the Mclean Road Fire Department. After graduation he plans to work toward being a diesel mechanic at Bellingham Technical College.

Vera Housler is the middle school student of the month. She is the daughter of Echo Arseneau. Vera is in eighth grade. Her favorite class is social studies. Outside of school she enjoys playing volleyball. After graduating Vera would like to study law to get a job as a police detective or lawyer.

Gabe Mitchell is the month's elementary student. His parents are Thomas and Emily Mitchell. Gabe is in fifth grade. He favorite classes are computers and PE. He plays trombone in band. At home he likes to play computer games. Gabe would like to be a car mechanic after graduating.
