Farmers greet Skagit summer sunrise

SUMMER COMES TO THE SKAGIT – On the first full day of summer, when the sun rose just after 5 a.m. over the Skagit Valley, hard working farmers prepared to harvest the tulip bulbs that once dazzled this landscape in April.
