Monday, July 10

9:56 a.m .: Road rage fight – Deputies responded to a fight in progress being reported by a SKAT bus driver. The physical altercation was the result of a road rage incident. Both involved drivers did not want to pursue charges. McLean Rd., Greater La Conner.

10:40 a.m .: Left high and dry – Deputies responded to a boat equipment theft. Deputies determined a 15hp Suzuki outboard motor had been stolen off the back of the victim’s boat during the night. Washington Ave., La Conner.

4:49 p.m .: Dropped their shopping, cart – Deputies removed an abandoned shopping cart in the roadway. Maple Ave., La Conner.

6:46 p.m .: That shopping cart – Owner of Pioneer Market called to ask that any missing shopping carts located be brought back to the store. Morris St., La Conner.

7:26 p.m .: Stay away from school– Report of juveniles in the bus parking area at La Conner High School. Deputies located the juveniles walking downtown and warned them about trespassing on school property after hours. N. 6th St., La Conner.

Wednesday, July 12

9:32 a.m .: Day the music died – Report of a vehicle prowl. Deputies contacted the victim who said their window was pushed down and a case of CDs were missing. Park St., La Conner.

12:59 p.m .: What pole? – Report of a metal pole protruding into Mclean Rd from the back of a parked pickup. Deputies checked for the vehicle; it was already gone. McLean / Bradshaw Rds., Greater La Conner.

3:39 p.m .: Landscaping needed

–Report of an overgrown hedge that was making it difficult to see traffic while pulling out of the intersection.. Dodge Valley / Landing Rds., Greater La Conner.

4:43 p.m .: Seattle visitor? – Report of a erratically driven blue for sedan, crossing over the center line and speeding in the area of Dodge Valley Rd and Best Rds. Dodge Valley / Best Rds., Greater La Conner.

Thursday, July 13

12:46 a.m .: Crime never sleeps – Deputies responded to a vehicle prowl at the Padilla Bay trailhead. When they arrived, they found the vehicle damaged and the suspects gone. Bay View Edison Rd., Bay View

9:18 a.m .: Crime rises early – Report of Malicious Mischief damage to the Padilla Bay Interpretive Center grounds. Bay View Edison Rd., Bay View

1:04 p.m .: Reckless got away – Reporting person was cut off by another vehicle. The reporting person slammed on their brakes and was rear-ended by the vehicle behind them. Maple Ave. / Park St., La Conner.

Friday, July 14

7:53 p.m .: Wow, that is fast – Report of a vehicle doing 100 mph in the area of Chilberg Rd and Morris St. Morris St. / Chilberg Rd., La Conner.

11:08 p.m .: How could this be? – Deputies investigated a 2 car, non-injury MVA in the parking lot of Snow Goose Produce. Fir Island Rd.,Greater La Conner.

Saturday, July 15

2:11 p.m .: Already rescued – Deputies responded to a report of a paddle boarder in the water under the Deception Pass Bridge. USCG arrived on scene and made contact with the Paddle Boarder. Deputies were canceled. Deception Pass, Greater La Conner.
