I tried a new product I found at the local grocery store. In the spice section, it was clearly labeled "Salmon Seasoning." It was a good decision. A plus in flavor and it had a familiar photo of Chef Phil Prudhomme, plus the ingredients listed were all natural. I jumped right into my trial baking experiment. In terms of measuring, I sprinkled an even coat of the seasoning over the salmon fillet.
Ingredients
Salmon fillet
Butter, 1 tablespoon
Olive oil, 1 teaspoon
Salmon seasoning, ¼ teaspoon
Lemon, ½ sliced
Preparation
Wash and pat dry the salmon. Lining the baking sheet with tin foil is optional. Put salmon skin side down. Sprinkle the seasoning over the entire fillet. Cut the butter and add dabs on the salmon. Add the lemon slices. Drizzle the olive oil down the length of the salmon.
Bake uncovered in a 350 degrees oven for 30 minutes.
