11:01 a.m. Ditched— Subjects left the roadway and got stuck in the ditch. Deputies arrived and contacted two subjects who were trying to get the car out but could not move it. The driver was contacted and arrested for DUI. Best Road, Greater La Conner.

11:58 p.m. Clean up—Dead animal in the roadway. La Conner public works was sent a request for removal. Maple Ave., La Conner.

Tuesday, January 22

14:43 pm. Phone fraud—Online fraud call where caller was requested to give information over the phone. Report for info only as caller did not fall for the scam. Laurel St., La Conner.

Thursday, January 25

3:38 p.m. Hurt kitty—Injured cat found on the side of the road and transported to pet emergency. Reported in case owner called in. Beaver Marsh, Greater La Conner.

7:58p.m. Too tall —Sailboat operating in the dark ran into the railroad bridge at the north end of the channel. The boat was stuck on the bridge until another boat was able to respond and get them free. Casino Dr., Greater La Conner.

9:33 p.m. Gone but not forgotten— Report of a subject acting strange outside the La Conner Whitney Shell and may have a knife in his hand. A deputy responded but did not locate the subject. The store clerk stated he had left on foot and did not see where he had gone. La Conner Whitney Road, Greater La Conner.

10:26 p.m. Car gone— Caller reported that a vehicle nearly hit her car and now seemed to be following her. A deputy responded but the car turned off prior to arrival and was no longer in the area. Fir Island Rd., Greater La Conner.

Friday, January 26

12:57 a.m Stuck.— Subject requested help getting a vehicle out of the mud that had been there for a few weeks. A tow company was arranged to help her. Maple Ave., La Conner.

4:25 p.m. Power out—Subject lost control of his truck and hit a power pole on Downey Road. Minor injury and power was shut off so the vehicle could be removed. Downey Road, La Conner.

Saturday, January 27

2:44 p.m. Still hunting season— Reports of gunshots in the area. A deputy checked and found multiple duck hunters. No problem. Park St., La Conner.
