Comment on stormwater management plan

Skagit County is soliciting public comment on the draft 2024 Stormwater Management Program Plan through 4:30 p.m. Friday, April 19.

The Stormwater Management Program Plan, which is updated annually, informs the public on the county’s Stormwater Management Program plan for the current calendar year. The public comment period gives the public an opportunity to provide feedback on current and future actions being taken by the county’s stormwater program. The draft plan can be found online on the Skagit County Stormwater Management Program page.

Actions outlined within the plan keep Skagit County in compliance with the Western Washington Phase II Municipal Stormwater Permit, issued to the county by the Washington State Department of Ecology.

The final version of the 2024 Stormwater Management Program Plan will be posted on the Stormwater Management Program webpage after the public comment period has closed.

Comments on the draft plan, as well as any stormwater related questions, can be directed to Jason Quigley at [email protected] or 360-416-1463, or by mail to Jason Quigley, 1800 Continental Place, Mount Vernon, WA 98273.
