In honor of Earth Day, Washington State Parks and Recreation Commission offers a free day at all state parks Monday, April 22. Visitors will not need a Discover Pass for day-use visits.
A Discover Pass will be required to access lands managed by the state departments of Natural Resources and Fish and Wildlife.
The next free days are June 8, 9 and 19.
State legislation creating the Discover Pass allows State Parks up to 12 free days each year when the pass is not required.
