1:59 p.m.: That was loud – There was a report of a possible gunshot heard in town. Town was very busy and there was only one call that came in on this. Area checked but no problems found. S. Fourth Street, La Conner.
Monday, April 15
7:48 a.m.: On the loose – A reporting party called in that his neighbor’s dog was running loose. There is no leash law for the county and the reporting party did not want the neighbor contacted. McLean Road, greater La Conner.
Tuesday, April 16
8:51 a.m.: Malicious mischief – Tulip Valley Farms had several signs and some fencing damaged. There is no suspect information and the owner of the property was unavailable for contact. Bradshaw Road, greater La Conner.
7:31 p.m.: Hot dog? There was a report of a dog left in a vehicle at the La Conner post office. A deputy checked the area and the vehicle was gone. S. First Street, La Conner.
Wednesday, April 17
12:58 p.m.: Tulip traffic – Two-car collision at Beaver Marsh and Calhoun roads. One vehicle pulled out in front of the other causing a minor accident.
1:04 p.m.: Another hot dog? Report of a dog left in a car. A deputy responded and the car was no longer there. Beaver Marsh Road, greater La Conner.
4:32 p.m.: Busted Bronco – Reporting party complained of an erratically driven Ford Bronco. The caller followed it to a residence where it parked. No deputy was available and no further complaints were made on the rig. La Conner-Whitney and McLean roads, La Conner.
4:45 p.m.: Sorry – A reporting party asked for help getting into her locked vehicle. Caller was advised to call a tow company for help. Beaver Marsh Road, greater La Conner.
Thursday, April 18
2:57 p.m.: Collision – A vehicle heading south on Best Road made a left turn onto Moore Road directly into oncoming traffic. A northbound vehicle T-boned the turning vehicle. Best and Moore roads, greater La Conner.
3:04 p.m.: Let me out! Loose, aggressive dogs were barking at a homeowner and not allowing her out of her car. The dogs’ owner was contacted, secured the dogs and worked it out with the reporting party. McLean Road, La Conner.
Friday, April 19
12:21 p.m.: Points for honesty – A driver wasn’t paying attention and hit a parked car. The man self-reported to the deputy in town, who helped with the exchange of information. S. Third Street, La Conner.
1:52 p.m.: Another day, another dog – Deputies got another report of a dog in a vehicle. A deputy searched the parking lot but did not locate it. Beaver Marsh Road, greater La Conner.
2:14 p.m.: Loose trailer – A subject was towing a utility trailer when it came loose from the truck and went into the ditch. It appeared the hitch had come loose and did not have safety pin. A tractor was used to remove the trailer. Bradshaw and Calhoun roads, greater La Conner.
8:48 p.m.: Sounds like a gun – There was a report of gunshots in the area. An off-duty officer was in the area and reported that it was definitely fireworks from the reservation side of the channel. Morris Street, La Conner.
Saturday, April 20
7:26 p.m.: Threats – A confrontation was reported where one subject made threats and indicated he had a gun. The suspect fled back inside a local hotel. Deputies are investigating possible crimes and determining the name of the suspect. Morris Street, La Conner.
Sunday, April 21
12:48 a.m.: Looks suspicious – Security for Washington Bulb called in a suspicious vehicle in a private parking area that they did not recognize. The vehicle was located. It was determined to belong there and was not an issue. Beaver Marsh Road, greater La Conner.
