1:26 p.m.: Wealth squats again – Same sailboat from the previous week docking at private docks and not paying. The owner was again asked to move and may be looking at fines. Pioneer Pkwy., La Conner

Wednesday, June 5

2:52 p.m.: Closer look needed – Caller was upset that a website for a local hotel used a third party booking site that had hidden fees. I advised this was not fraud as I went to the site myself and saw all the fees were listed on the booking prior to paying. Maple Ave., La Conner

4:33 p.m.: Dog gone hot – Caller called in about a dog locked in a vehicle during warm weather. The owner returned to the car and the dog was OK. A deputy was able to speak with the owner about leaving the dog in a car during warmer weather. S. First St., La Conner

Saturday, June 8

12:59 p.m.: Merchant hospitality – Caller called about a car parked in the loading zone and blocking access to the building. Prior to arrival, the owner contacted the subject in the car and was able to find them a different spot to park. S. First St., La Conner
