6:57 a.m.: Lock, loaded or not – Caller called to report a handgun stolen from his truck overnight. The caller was already out of the area and could not provide info on the truck or serial numbers for the gun. He stated it was loaded and he was unsure if the truck was locked. Caller will provide more info when he returns home. Best Rd., greater La Conner

Friday, June 21

9:31 a.m.: Just hang up – Phone scam with someone stating they owed money and were going to be arrested if they did not pay. The caller was advised that this was a common scam and to hang up and not send money. Moore St., La Conner

Saturday, June 22

5:15 p.m.: Is this your dog? – Caller located a French bulldog that did not have any owner tags. The caller agreed to keep the dog for the weekend and would post the animal on social media. If the owner is not located, it will be taken to the humane society. Young Rd., greater La Conner

4:33 p.m.: Tis the season – Subject shooting fireworks at the Similk Beach area. This is land owned by the tribe and the area was checked by a tribal unit. The call was cleared with no problems or crimes. Similk Beach, greater La Conner
