Sunday, July 7

3:15 p.m.: Animal problem not a problem – A deputy was dispatched to a report of a vehicle with two dogs inside and no one around. While he was responding, the reporting party called back and said the vehicle left the area. S. First Street, La Conner.

Monday, July 8

10:19 a.m.: Stolen bike – A caller said their bicycle was parked in their front yard and they forgot to lock it up. It had been taken within the last week and there was no suspect information. Center Street, La Conner.

1:53 p.m.: Malicious mischief – Deputy responded to a report of graffiti on the water towers and investigated. There is no suspect information at this time. He photographed the graffiti and other damage and entered items into evidence. S. Fourth Street, La Conner.

4:17 p.m.: Motorcycle hit – Deputy contacted the reporting party who saw a vehicle back into a motorcycle legally parked on the street. Deputy contacted the motorcycle owner who didn’t witness the incident. The deputy attempted to contact the owner of the suspect vehicle at their residence. Investigation continues. S. First Street / Washington Avenue, La Conner.

Wednesday, July 10

2:01 p.m.: Abandoned or not? – Deputy was dispatched to an abandoned vehicle complaint at the La Conner Marina. Another deputy found the vehicle in question and asked for a colleague to check on it to see if it had moved. The vehicle in question had moved to a different location in the area. N. Second Street, La Conner.

Thursday, July 11

4:02 p.m.: Fender bender – Deputy responded to a two-car collision on private property. The deputy facilitated an exchange of information with the drivers and provided them with a case number for their records. S. First Street, La Conner.

Friday, July 12

7:48 p.m.: Possible DUI – Deputies got a report of an older green Honda that had lane travel issues and was possibly driving under the influence. The caller couldn’t provide a license plate. A deputy checked the area and was unable to locate the vehicle. McLean /Best roads, greater La Conner area.
