Pioneer family honor is ill timed

I am sad that the Skagit County Pioneer Association chose a year when Skagit County Commissioner Ron Wesen is up for reelection to honor the Wesen family. Not a good look. And Commissioner Wesen should know better.

The Wesen family deserves the honor, but next year would have been better. And, by the way, I am not supporting Wesen’s opponent.
