Mark your calendars for these upcoming arts and entertainment activities.

The 24th annual La Conner Classic Boat & Car Show will fill the La Conner Marina from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 3. Check out lovingly cared for classic cars, motorcycles and boats on display in the parking lot, then wander to the dock to see a variety of vintage pleasure craft and working boats. Award winners will be announced at 3 p.m. Sponsored by Port of Skagit, La Conner Chamber of Commerce, La Conner Retirement Inn and Frontier Ford.

Anacortes Arts Festival, Aug. 2-4. More than 220 artisans will have booths filling Commercial Avenue in downtown Anacortes. It’s one of the largest arts festivals in the Northwest. Free admission.

Come to Deception Pass State Park for American roots concerts at 7 p.m. Saturdays. The entertainment lineup: Aug. 3, Tzepl; Aug. 10, Ranger & the Re-Arrangers; Aug. 17, Chumlilies; Aug. 24, Whisky Deaf Quartet. Follow signs; parking will be limited at Deception Pass due to damage from winter storms.

August is Arts Festival month! Join Jazz at the Library at the Jazz Stage at the Anacortes Arts Festival all weekend, Aug. 2-4, in downtown Anacortes. Bands hit the stage beginning at noon Friday, 11 a.m. Saturday and noon Sunday.

La Conner Live 2024 Summer Concert Series continues in Gilkey Square every Sunday from 1-4 p.m. through Sept. 8 at First and Morris streets. The lineup features Billy Appleton Band, Aug. 4; Midlife Crisis and the Alimony Horns, Aug. 11; The Walrus, Aug. 18; Cascadia Groove, Aug. 25; Pacific Twang, Sept. 1; Chris Eger – Richard Williams Invitational Jam, Sept. 8.

Anacortes Summer Concerts. The Port of Anacortes presents its 2024 free summer concert series at Seafarers’ Memorial Park, 601 Seafarers Way. See the whole summer concert lineup online at portofanacortes.com/events.
