Tuesday, Aug. 13

11:20 a.m.: Free speech squelched – Caller reported theft of political signs from his yard. It has happened multiple times and he wants extra patrol of the area. Calhoun and Best Roads, greater La Conner.

Wednesday, Aug. 14

9:54 a.m.: Stay in your lane – Subject driving south on Best Road lost control and crossed the northbound lanes before hitting a tree and taking out approximately 30 feet of fence. The driver was OK and did not show any signs of impairment. Driver was cited for no insurance and leaving lane of travel. Best Road, greater La Conner.

Friday, Aug. 16

3:15 p.m.: Stolen luck? – Subject stole the key to the Lotto machine, which left it unusable. The suspects license plate was obtained but they have not been located. La Conner-Whitney Road, greater La Conner.

Saturday, Aug. 17

3:11 a.m.: Tool theft – Subjects were seen removing tools from someone’s yard in an apparent theft. Some tools were recovered from the road and the investigating deputy is reviewing video footage to establish suspects. N. Third Street, La Conner.

2:09 p.m.: Reckless riding – Caller reported a kid riding his bike on Pioneer Park trails in a reckless manner and forcing others off the trail. A deputy checked the area but did not locate him. Pioneer Parkway, La Conner.
