Once a house. Now a vacant lot

BREAK IT DOWN, LOAD IT UP, HAUL IT AWAY – Last Wednesday Fifth Street neighbors were greeted by the sound of an excavator and crew demolishing the Mitchell house, which was destroyed by fire June 19. Some folks watched from nearby porch steps. By Thursday afternoon the house was boxed up in two roll-off containers. Look for the full story next week.
