Cynthia Lee Lundquist (née Currie), aged 64, passed away on July 4, 2024, in Everett, Washington.
Born on May 6, 1960, in Seattle, Washington to John and Patricia Currie. Cindy attended Shorewood High School. Cindy lived most of her adult life in La Conner where she worked for Pacific Mariner. Cindy later moved to Orcas Island with her adoring husband, Loren Lundquist. Cindy enjoyed working at The Exchange, where she got to know most of the Island's residents, along with her favorite coworkers, "the crows." Cindy was known for her profound love for animals. There was not an animal on the Island that Cindy did not take under her wing.
Cindy is survived by her loving husband of 16 years, Loren Lundquist; sons Travis Phillips (Lauren) and Sam Phillips (Jenaye); her cherished grandchildren, Lukas, Jaxon, Colin and Myiah; and her sister Jo Ann Currie. She is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Daniel Currie. Her family and friends will remember her as a caring and passionate individual, always ready to lend a helping hand and share a moment of joy.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date and information will be made available once arrangements have been made.
