Sunday, Sept. 29

4:15 p.m.: Dog owner unchained – Two loose dogs got in a fight with the caller’s dog. There were no injuries and it’s unknown who is the owner of the other dogs. Young Rd., greater La Conner.

Wednesday, Oct. 2

7 p.m.: Law let her out – Caller called to advise that she had been locked behind the marina gates and could not get out. Law responded with a key and was able to open the gate. N. 2nd Street, La Conner.

Sunday, Oct. 6

9:56 a.m.: Don’t park here – Reports of a vehicle blocking a fire hydrant at the intersection of Douglas and Whatcom streets. The owner was contacted and the vehicle was moved. La Conner.

3:10 p.m.: Hit, ran and followed – Subject sitting in the La Conner Tavern observed a subject trying to parallel park his truck and watched as he hit both the car behind and the one in front. The driver then parked and walked off. The witnesses tried to confront him but he continued to walk away. A deputy was unable to locate him in town and will be doing follow-up at the truck owner’s residence. South 1st St., La Conner.
