I grew pole beans this year. Every few days I harvested a handful and saved them until I had about 2 pounds. Enough for our meal and I froze two meals. If you don't have an Instant Pot, you can use a steamer basket on the stove.
Ingredients
Green beans, fresh, 2 pounds
Water, 1 cup
Preparation
Instant Pot: Rinse green beans and snip both ends of each bean. Place in Instant Pot and add water. Set pressure time to zero minutes. When pressure is reached, do a quick release.
Stovetop: In large pot, add water to about 1 inch depth. Cover and bring to boil. Set steamer basket with prepared green beans above boiling water. Cover and steam until tender, about 3-5 minutes.
