Sunday, Oct. 13

12:16 p.m.: Prowling cars at least – Caller had a window broken out of her vehicle and several items taken from inside. Deputies had been out the previous evening with a suspect for other thefts in the area and believe this may also be related. Bay View-Edison Rd., Bay View.

1:53 p.m.: Husband: call home – Caller reported that her husband had taken a boat out to the island for hunting and had not returned. When a deputy arrived, they learned that the subject had returned and everything was OK. Goat Island.

Monday, Oct. 14

8:43 a.m.: Deer down, dead – Report of a dead deer on the side of road. Public Works was advised for removal. Farm to Market / Bay View roads.

Thursday, Oct. 17

11:07 A.m.: Prowler or trickster – Caller reported a prowler in his yard. A deputy responded but did not locate the subject and did not find anything missing or damaged. South 4th St., La Conner.

Friday, Oct. 18

3:56 p.m.: All okay on bay – Caller had a boat on moorage in the bay that took on water and capsized. There was nobody on the boat and the caller would be working on removal. Just noted in case anyone called in a rescue. Similk Bay, Anacortes.

4:57 p.m.: Citizen assist – Caller reported a tree down and blocking the road. A deputy arrived along with a citizen who had a chainsaw and was willing to cut it up. The deputy and citizen were able to remove it and open the road. Dodge Valley / Valley roads.

Sunday, Oct. 20

7:08 a.m.: Hunters afoot, afloat – Caller reported multiple gunshots in the area. The deputy was aware of the opening for duck season and relayed this information to the caller. Bay View-Edison Rd., Bay View.
