Fancy footwork

Emmitt Voorhees did some clever sidestepping during the cake walk as part of the La Conner Parent-Teacher-Student Association fundraiser at the elementary school gym Friday night. Bingo and a silent auction for home-baked desserts were also part of the fun. Proceeds from the event will help defray the costs of field trips and end-of-year playday activities.
